Metering Cartridge for Delta Faucets
When a metering faucet, whether it's the ADA Lever Style or Push Button Style, starts to have problems with timing or flow of the water, the first instinct is to replace the faucet itself. However, starting with the metering cartridge to troubleshoot the problem can sometimes fix the problem. Once the the cartridge is pulled from the faucet, clean and inspect it. Any signs of wear or components not moving properly will indicate it needs to be replaced. You can also change the timing of the faucet by twisting the timing nut. Please note, the factory present is 7 to 18 seconds at 50 PSI.
